Cookies Policy

Last updated 29 September 2026

This policy explains which cookies the Banaluna website (banaluna.com) uses, why, and how you can change your choice. It's short, because we use very few. And yes, these are the digital kind: no crumbs in the car seat.

The short version

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things between visits, such as a choice you've made. Some are needed for a site to work; others are used to measure visits or show adverts, and those need your permission first in many places.

2. The cookies we use

CookieSet byWhat it doesHow long it lasts
CookieScriptConsentCookieScript, our cookie noticeRemembers whether you accepted or declined cookies, so the notice doesn't ask again on every page. Strictly necessary.30 days

That's all. The website doesn't use analytics, advertising pixels or social-media trackers, so the notice's other categories have nothing in them. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first and ask for your permission before those cookies are used.

3. Other services on this website

Two services load when you visit banaluna.com. Neither sets cookies of its own here, but like any service a browser contacts, they receive your IP address and browser details:

Links to other websites, including the App Store, take you to pages with their own cookie and privacy policies.

4. The Banaluna app and web sign-up

The Banaluna iPhone app doesn't use cookies. What it collects, including the usage data you can turn off in Profile → Privacy → Share usage data, is described in our Privacy Policy.

Our web sign-up flow is a separate service. It may use cookies to keep you signed in and to measure which of our adverts led you to us. Where it does, it shows its own notice and, where the law requires it, asks your permission first.

5. Changing your choice

You're always in control. Open the cookie notice again to change your choice at any time:

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the consent cookie, the notice will simply ask again next time.

6. Changes to this policy

If the cookies on this website change, we'll update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
